Definitely the peace keeper, supporting Kelowna Transmission & Auto Repair throughout the years has been ultimately fulfilling for Marcelle. Marcelle and Ivar moved to Kelowna in 1993 where together they raised their three wonderful children, Ryan, Randy and Mckenzie. Growing the business has presented Marcelle with opportunities to proudly support important organizations such as the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, the Okanagan College Trades Training Centre Complex as well as local community food banks. Marcelle and Ivar spend much of their free time side by side, an example of their life-long partnership outside of the family business. Marcelle believes all customers, including women, have the right to feel welcome and respected and hopes you will visit the shop the next time you’re in need of auto service, repairs or advice.

Brian joins Kelowna Transmission & Auto Repair with an impressive 45 years' experience in the automotive sales and service industry including 20 years as a dealership engine builder. Brian is also proficient in custom car design and building. Outside of work, he enjoys drag racing.

Randy, son of Ivar and Marcelle, was happy to join the family business in 2013. Randy contributes a wealth of knowledge, exceptional customer service skills and a permanent smile. An interesting fact about Randy is that he has 9 screws and 1 drill bit in his foot. But that doesn’t stop him from enjoying our beautiful Okanagan to the fullest with hobbies like golfing and 4-wheeling. Born and raised in Kelowna and daughter of Ivar and Marcelle, Mckenzie happily joined the family business in the Fall of 2020. Although her role in administration and assisting Marcelle is ever evolving, she very much enjoys learning all about the day-to-day operations of running the business. Most recently, she obtained certification as the auto repair shops first aid attendant, an important role indeed. Looking to the future, Mckenzie would like to rescue/adopt as many dogs as possible.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Matt has become an important member of Kelowna Transmission & Auto Repair team since joining the business 2013. Matt’s focus is on general auto repairs, vehicle inspections, diagnostics and fabrication. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing computer games. Matt also enjoys many outdoor activities such as dirt biking, 4-wheeling and camping, of course. Matt is a knowledgeable and experienced technician who takes great pride in high quality work.

Sean is a highly experienced service adviser, now joining Randy in the front of the shop with his wealth of knowledge. With a diverse background including work at 7 major dealerships and 3 independent auto repair shops, Sean brings a deep understanding of the industry. An electrician by trade, he possesses excellent problem-solving skills and a knack for connecting with people, enjoying the opportunity to learn their unique stories. Sean's impressive talents extend beyond the workshop; he can juggle knives and has traveled extensively, even residing in England. As a proud father of two little girls, he cherishes family time. In his free moments, Sean indulges his passions as an avid motorcycle enthusiast, musician, and outdoor enthusiast who values his gym routine.

Nik, born and raised in Kelowna, possesses a true passion for automotive craftsmanship. Currently a level 2 automotive technician apprentice, he diligently undertakes general repairs while ensuring the shop maintains impeccable cleanliness and organization. Beyond the workshop, Nik has a unique hobby: collecting hot wheels, displaying his love for all things automotive in miniature form. When he's not tinkering with cars, Nik cherishes quality time with his family, venturing out to explore new places through camping adventures. He also finds joy in watching movies, participating in autocross events, and immersing himself in projects, whether it's working on his meticulously lowered Japanese cars or tackling other exciting endeavors.

Teegan, a skilled automotive technician, holds a red seal certification along with an inspector's certificate. With a passion for welding and fabrication, he expertly brings ideas to life. Beyond the workshop, Teegan and his girlfriend thrive on adventure, spending their spare time exploring off-road trails, dirt biking, golfing, and conquering slopes on snowmobiles. True to his industrious nature, Teegan always has an exciting project underway, constantly honing his skills and pursuing new challenges. Whether he's perfecting his craft or embracing outdoor pursuits, Teegan embraces a life filled with creativity, exploration, and continuous growth.
